At home you will be able to use the wireless connection provided you have a Wireless router and an in built Wireless card on the Laptop or a PCMCI card on the lap top to make it work wirelessly..but i am absolutely sure that you cannot take the laptop to work and expect the same connection be available there also..the range or a wireless connection at the max is a few 100 feet but not more than that...


So ultimately you cannot use the same connection at work also..but you can purchase a network card that some mobile providers can provide to access the internet while at work or while being mobile...

Yes as long as you have a wireless nic card to use on your laptop at home. My husband does that all the time with his laptop.

No, you will not connect to your provider from work.

If they have wireless and you have a password you can connect and use their access point.
