Everyone knows that the washing machine was falsely accused. The bed and the couch are the two most wanted culprits in the sock stealing capers. Look under, behind, and all inside {inside the couch behind the cushions} and you would be surprised what you find. I once found 2 dog bones, 3 socks, a chewed hair clip, enough dog hair to make a new dog, my favorite T-shirt, and $1.43 in my couch. (Between the washer and dryer is a good place to look too. Lots of small stuff gets lost between there when transferring clothes to the dryer.)

Either on the floor or in the washing. But sometimes it disappears for a couple months. I think my clothes like to take vacations now and then.
