I agree. It is ridiculous that some people have to inject themselves onto others. It has to do with wanting attention and not wanting others to be happier than themselves.

Remember, humans are instinctually selfish. We all want what is best for ourselves, even at the expense of others. Some people just take it to an unhealthy extreme.

You spelled Hanukkah wrong, or Chanukah. Just thought I should point that out to you. Oh, and celebrated too, oh and ridiculous. Work on your spelling! I'm not offended at all by Christmas trees. I don't really understand what your trying to say. I know that there is not a Hanukkah tree, I know I don't get one- so...uh.
I think people get upset because Christmas is quite dominant around this time (radio, television, school, shop decorations, people saying Merry Christmas) so if you don't celebrate Christmas, you feel quite left out of all the fun. Say your friends are having this humongous party and they talk about it everyday when your around. That's what it's like, except I don't really care all that much because I still celebrate Hanukkah so it's fine. So, happy Christmahanukwanzadon!

Agreed. If anyone is offended by the saying "Christmas tree" then they ARE ridiculous! It has been passed down since forever, and its not going to change because people complain. If you dont celebrate Christmas, and dont like anything to do with it, get over yourself! It is just a saying.... whatever, call it a hanakuh tree, who cares. Just rename it.

I get upset when people start pushing Christmas before Halloween but realize this is because ( like E.Scrooge ) they are after the
" Almighty Dollar. " if anyone is offended by minor details they need to remember some of us are " old and set in our ways. "

Are they offended by the term or the ritual killing of innocent trees? In either case, they're just getting your goat.
