You may have it set on a refresh rate Hz that is too much for the monitor to handle. Go back into the resolution and video setting and lower the refresh rate and if you can't, go back to the resolution under what you currently have now.

Sounds like you lowered your refresh rate.
Go to Control panel, display, settings, advanced and set the monitor to the max refresh rate it can handle.

your computer flickers because of the size of the picture you put on there. choose a different picture to put on thre. i hope i have helped

maybe you have an analog monitor, try to enter in safe mode and change the refresh rate of your display ;)
