Not really... English like meat & potatoes type meals and beer. French people have a lot of egg/snail/odd, lighter foods and wine. Plus, they have completely different languages.

There are similarities that as neighbours we are reluctant to admit. We both have strong cultural and historical pride - some of which we have shared e.g. The Norman invaisons, The plantagenents and the hundred years war, to name but a few. However as with most states there are some things we share, but above all else we celebrate our differences!

Don't believe everything you hear. The two are culturally different. But then i think people are just individual and do their own thing anyways. Wherever you go people are different from county to city to state.
