There are similarities that as neighbours we are reluctant to admit. We both have strong cultural and historical pride - some of which we have shared e.g. The Norman invaisons, The plantagenents and the hundred years war, to name but a few. However as with most states there are some things we share, but above all else we celebrate our differences!
