we have been friends for 5 yrs, she was maid on honor at my wedding and has seen me through the birth of 2 children. i have always counted on her to be there for me, and also counted on the fact that she had a genuine interest in my life and my family. i have always suported her and been there for her even when finding new relationships or having newborn children. Now she has a boyfriend of 6 months now, and is never around for me when i need her. she has blown me off at times i needed her most, and uses her boyfriend as an exuse all the time. i am coming to the point where i think she is very self-centered and i have tried to talk to her about this already. she comes over when she feels like it and seems that she expects things to be hunky dory, and doesn't anticipate my feelings or anger at all. it confuses me and hurts my feelings to the point that i just want her out of my life, but then i don't at the same time. there is nothing left to say to her, so what do you think?

I have had friends like that, who just forget all about their friends everytime they have a man. I dont need any fair weather friends. Tell her straight up how you feel, if she tries to change at all, she cares, if she doesnt, she doesnt care. Tell her having him in her life is no excuse to just ignore you. If she continues, brush her off when she finally comes back around (after they break up more than likely) It would always piss me off when my friend did this to me and I just made different friends and dont miss her.
