must serve you with a glass of water at request in a uk public house whether you are banned or not..they must allow you to consume the drink of water and allow you to sit whilst doing so..once you have finished your drink they may then ask you to leave the premises..i used to be an english law...is it still active now...happy hols...

Bars now reserve the right of admission. They can choose not to serve you.
Another strange law - In Piccadilly there is a road on which it is illegal to run. The road was a prime location for bandits and anybody seen running down the street was assumed to be a crook. The law still holds today.

I don't know, but I think drinking water should be mandatory in bars! It would reduce drunkenness.
Also, some people have to take medications with water, and I come from a place where you can walk for miles without seeing a pub.

well if it is the law is an *** why should you be allowed to go back into the pub once you have been banned there must have been a valid reason why you was banned in first place why should you be allowed back in to taunt the barman.

I dont know of any law...however if the seating is available, I dont think they can refuse your order, even if it is just a glass of water.
