Not even pro-choice people would get out and celebrate abortions...

That is absurd. I am not sure how that would make man and woman equal? Both man and woman have the right to have an abortion, but up to the present, there has been no instance involving a man with the required prerequisites of having an abortion, namely a uterus. As for the holiday in general, I find that terribly immoral. No mother is proud of aborting a child, even if she might not consider it murder. Even if someone were to consider abortion at the level of stepping on an ant, wouldn't it be a little morally distorted to have a National Ant Killing Holiday? It makes no sense, it would benefit nobody, it would make one less workday in a nation that is all ready underproductive (assuming you're from the USA).

The women who hid their abortions while spouting the right to choose would run out and celebrate how they weren't ashamed after all?

The brain gives equality to men and women. Think about your mother having the right to choose. Very possible you wouldn't exist to ask such a stupid question!

They do it is called Take your Aborted Fetus to the dumpster day. It takes place every Wednesday before the garbage man comes and picks up the blue bin full of burned and torn baby body parts.

Weird way to celebrate don't you think?

The right to choose does not make men and women equal. Men sometimes have no right to choose whether or not their baby lives or dies.

How about National Equality Day?

why do you celebrate the deaths of people, yet cry when someone kills a chicken in order to eat it?

only way man and women will be equal???? so men can kill babies too? how many women were killed because their selfish mothers thought that they would rather kill a person than be "inconvenienced"?

Yes. But perhaps we could change the name? I'm pro-choice and I would not celebrate Abortion Day.
