go for it, my wife is originally from Hong Kong, we met on the internet 4 years ago, both travelling to and from Scotland and Hong Kong as often as we could.
she came across to Scotland 2 years ago, we where married in Jan of this year in Hong Kong and are having a great time of it living in Scotland, apart from the cold weather.
she is 24 and I`m 36 so we have the approx. same age difference as you guys, give it a go, if you don`t try it.... you`ll never know!
best of good luck to you both and have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

YOu can't really know anyone unless you are there in person with them over a period of time. I know of a woman who moved west from PA and she thought she would live happily ever after nly to find herself stranded out there. The person turned out to be a headcase. In fact, I know of a few stories like this. Either he should move here or start looking for someone closer.

Are you sure it's love? Have you met him, been over here etc?
If the answer to all this is yes then go for it! But make sure it's real first.
If you are worried about the age thing, don't be - my mum lives with a bloke that is the father of my brother and a year younger than me.

My BF is 5 years younger than me & lives in gran canaria, I live in UK. He proposed I said yes. I kinda think that you regret what you dont do more than anything. Some of the saddest phrases are "I wonder & what if"

Is the grass really always greener on the other side? I'd think about it hard and long...if you love each other then it will work but if it's just infactuation it's going to be tough on you both in the long term.

you must do what you feel in your heart is the right thing to do. but I would suggest you take a vacation to see what the " lay of the land is " unless you have been there before. better make certain you do not burn all your bridges behind you.
