How much does a parade character get paid in Disneyland?

More than $8. Starting wages at Disneyland Resort pay that much. Parade Cast Members get paid more, but not by much. Depends really on what you do there. Most of my friends who worked parades (I used to work there, in Stores/Merch.), got paid anywhere from $9/hr. to $14/hr...on average. But they also didn't work full 8-9 hour days...you don't get paid for the hours in between the parades that you're just sitting around.
And it's not actually that hard to get a job there. Again, depends on WHAT you do there, but for the most part, it's fairly easy as long as you're willing to comply with their standards and all that.
Check out the jobline or website for better info. I haven't worked there for 2 years, and things have changed a little since then.

It is around $9/hour, and you do get some prep and down time covered. It is more if you are a face character (no mask) and if you have to talk. I have a friend who just became a parade character at Disney.

Probably a lot less than you would think. It's also quite a chore to get a job there as well. Good Luck!!
