Drunk or not you are bound to serve your time in the Corps, when not if, you get caught, you and your replacement would spend a lot of quality time in prison.

Suck it up, join, and hopefully Uncle Sam's Misguided Children can beat some respect and honor into your drunk self.

Bogus question.

I can guarantee that no recruiter in the world is going to allow any recruit to sign a legally binding contract while the subject is ripped out of his mind.

The recruiter could lose his job over it.

Most recruits make several visits to collect information, take physical exams, psychological tests and such before signing a an enlistment. Were you drunk each time? How did you pass the blood test?

If you already don't "run" then are you even in the physical shape required to enlist in the Marines? They require high levels of conditioning to start, and power drunks just usually don't ALSO lift weights, do pull-ups and other conditioning exercises.

News just out in last weeks newspapers indicates that All 4 major branches of the armed forces either met or exceeded their recruitment goals this year. They really don't need "problem" candidates with bad habits they have to break.

Again, I just don't believe this is a real question.

Your duty is to tell the truth, and the truth is that the Marines don't take drunks as recruits.
That means you're a liar, you're a disgrace to yourself and your country, and you're not a Marine.
