I'm Asian, I have 2 toddlers. I breastfed them. I didn't take any herb, only soy milk. I made it by myself. It worked wonderfully. To me, it worked abt 1 hour after I drank it. Making it is easy and it's 100% natural. Wash the soy beans, put them in much water overnight to get them swollen. Then the next day you can drain the water. Put some water in the blender (more than the soy amount), blend it until it's completely watery. Then use a filter to remove the pulp from the milk. Boil the milk in low heat, then it's ready to drink.

Erm... i have heard mother's milk works but check with your doctor as different people have different reactions to different foods.

If your baby is latched on properly and sucking, your milk should come in. I found that standing in a warm shower, facing the water stream and letting the water hit your breasts helps milk come in. This worked for me anyway.

Contact La Leche League, they are there to help, as are the midwives.

Try taking Fenugreek and Mother's Milk Tea-those helped me greatly increase my milk supply. But you need to have proper stimulation of the baby sucking to even get your milk to come in.
