Right click on MyComputer/properties/hardware/device manager and find the model of the sound card (under sound/video etc.).
Then go to www.driverguide.com , register (free) and find the correct driver for your sound card AND operating system (Windows, MAC, etc.)
If necessary, before installing it, uninstall the existing windows driver

Tony,

We are not mind readers. Do you know what kind of sound card you have? If you do not, take your PC to a computer shop.

If you do, tell us and we may be able to help you. Oh, and what version of Windows are you running?

Go to control panel and select sound and audio, and configure what you want. driver's , as I know, are usually associated with hardware. Are you looking for audio codec's? Go to Hippo.com, they got free downloadable codec packages.

OK just calm down. it's very easy. You can go to SYSTEM RESTORE, and then choose the date before your sound driver missing. Simple.
If still problem, just look at your mainboard, what brand is it ?? what type ?? and go to they website. thanks.
