Second: take the first coefficient and multiply it by the last coefficient = -30. Find two numbers that give you -30 when multiplied and the middle coefficient (7) when added/subtracted:

*We can use: 10, -3

Third: rewrite the expression and factor each set:

= (15x^2 +10x) - (3x - 2)
= 5x(3x + 2) -1 (3x + 2)
= (3x + 2)(5x - 1)
