when the heater leaks at the bottom etc or if its not heating any longer after warrantee is completed

- When you decide a tankless would suit your needs and yield a little extra storage space or save a bit extra in the energy fueling the heater.

if your broke... when it starts leaking/not heating or doesnt supply enough hot water anymore. if you have the money to fix it.. any time after 10 years.. seems to be a going rate for life

it depends on if the coils needs replaced or if it is old and doesnt heat anymore.

elements need replacing and unit over 7 yrs old.....leaking......bad smell.........think of upgrading to a tankless system.....
