if your broke... when it starts leaking/not heating or doesnt supply enough hot water anymore. if you have the money to fix it.. any time after 10 years.. seems to be a going rate for life

elements need replacing and unit over 7 yrs old.....leaking......bad smell.........think of upgrading to a tankless system.....
