i work in a nursing home and for me it is giving to the residents. we decorate their doors and adopt a resident for Christmas every year. it is amazing to me that even the simplest gifts are appreciated like it was a diamond ring. it makes you realize how blessed you are as many do not have family to come and visit with them. also some family members don't come because the nursing home is too "depressing". imagine that. i urge anyone who can to think about the people in nursing homes at this time of year. just giving a small treat or a card can make a big difference in their lives at this time of year or even better any time of the year. merry Christmas and happy new year.

The Christmas spirit. I don't know what it is but it is always there. It is not the shopping nor the gifts but a certain air about things. Like decorating the tree and watching old Christmas classics with my family. I really enjoy it.

it used to be the joy of giving, but with all the hype of Christmas my biggest joy is TURKEY. I still love to give so all who stop by will get Turkey dinner and a warm hug. Happy Holidays.
