cheaper to buy from US side, but when we lived over in UK we always used Cheap ticket.com..... London Gatwick, is cheaper to fly from Also. Rather than Cardiff. Flying from UK to Amsterdam to US is cheaper also. I will check for you. Good Luck, oh yea Vegas is scotching in July..... and flights are higher in USA in July due to kids being out on summer break. Later ; )

Go to Sky Travel and they will give you the cheapest. However book with a decent airline. You want a decent aircraft with good seating. I have just done a flight with American Airlines and it was an uncomfortable flight. Pay a bit more for the comfort.
ps You will love las Vegas, book in a really top Hotel they are so cheap and luxurious.

How flexible are your dates? If possible fly on a week day as they are usually cheaper than weekend flights. Believe it or not but I have on average found the best deals on Yahoo Travel which a round trip there and back in the mid summer would be about $1400 http://travel.travelocity.com/flights/AirDateSearch.do?SEQ=116639544707811172006
You can usually find a cheaper flight if your dates are flexible.

there are 3 airlines servicing Las Vegas to London. Check out Virgin Atlantic, BMI, and Max Jet. Maybe that will help you.
