I need this information for a project. Did Leonardo Da Vinci estimate the age of earth? If yes what was his estimate and what was basis/source/reason for his estimate?

I don't know that any one human could know everything DaVinci wrote about. He is of interest to me, however, and I am more than cursorily familiar with the body of his works. I am not aware of him making an estimate of the earth's age. DNA is correct, though, he did (in several places) make it clear that the church was very obviously incorrect in their assessments.

Leonardo Da Vinci did not estimate the age of the Earth. He just suggested that the Bible couldn't be accurate about its perception of time (while giving some examples from the Deluge).
