depends on how much they show and on the occasion... you wouldn't go to a party wearing a tight skirt or skinny pants and be cool about it!!! is kind of weird... try to wear panties that aren't to tight these way you won't have panties lines to worry about

From a guy's perspective, panty lines are quite sexy.
Either way, if you bum is well shaped, it won't matter.

If you're wearing tight clothes, it would be safer to wear a g-string...or pretty knickers, instead of big bloomers that are so very unflattering. : )
