Where a question of absolutely no social, political, spiritual, or emotional significance pops in to your head and bugs you until you find the answer? For instance, do spiders have a sense of smell?

Jon, this is ridiculous because I was asking myself THIS EXACT SAME thing this morning. I wondered about the sense of smell, but what I really want to know is the anatomical (ahem) parts. All I can find are kid sites on the subject. ??? What the hey. There's a psychiatrist I work with who is an expert on insects, so I page him (when he's on call) and he answers the page with, "how can I help you?" and I ask him a question about insects. Ha....then I say just kidding but he usually answers it! I can't get up the nerve to ask him the more intimate questions!!
Let me know if you find the answer. Isn't there some sort of insect forum or something- j/k.
Happens to me all the time, course, I'm totally crazy so I don't know what that means for you buddy.
