This is a personal question, but there are a few generic guidelines. I always say that my motivation is to grow in the company and be successful. The truth is, we all want to be successful, so this is very generic, but it's also true for me as an individual.
You may have other motivations - children, family, to become the first female president, who knows? But the thing is - an employer wants to hear that you WANT to be successful. They want you to say "I want to be an integral part of a successful team." "I want to help my company, my community, and my colleagues in whatever way I can - whether it be helping with a project, a charitable event, or just helping format a spreadsheet - I want to a a part of something successful."
I know, it's kind of goofy, but I hope it's true of you too! You do want all of these things, right? If so, say them without regret, and with confidence.

You must be VERY young. You look at the job you are interviewing for and what type of company you would be working for. Find out what their goals are and what kind of people work there. Your motivation would be different with every job interview.
Please don't tell them you want to be president of the company.
Base your motivation around them. Honestly, money is my motivation. I told my boss that after I had been with the company for many years and she thought I was terrible for saying that. I was being honest. They don't like that.
SEE THE GUY ABOVE ME. HE IS THE IDIOT FROM YESTERDAY. THE MAN.......................
If I knew job and company I could help you more.
