My husband has been having an affair for a year and now that it has been exposed he is still cheating. This is sooo out of character for him. He has a high stress job and works 60+ hours a week. He is moody, defensive and his eyes look "crazy". He used to look so happy and full of love. He lies ALL the time and hides everything from me. We are probably getting a divorce, but I am worried about him.

Sounds like my EX is his name BILL On a more serious note. Drugs take the place of love for an addict and the reason they have affairs is because usually those people are into it to..You should divorce him nobody can change him and once an addict always an addict. If it is put in front of his face he would do it...No matter if it is a drug or a woman

Sounds like your going thru heck right now..Trying to deal with him cheating is bad enough, Sounds like something certainly is going on with him, He could be using drugs..I went thru almost the same situtation with my husband, Found out he was cheating, then he was the moodiest person i knew,was the most unhappiest person, lied all the time, drank ALOT at bars everynight. he was just major ********..Then i left him..Then he woke up, started to come out of whatever it was he was into..I believe he had a mid life crisis..(he was 43 at the time)
Its not a fun situtation to be in, It emotionally and physcially takes a big toll on you..I wish you the best of luck, and I really do hope things get better for you..You do deserve better..

this is a hard subject, i think that you should divorce him. Check for wierd spells mnext time he is around, if you have kids you do not wanty them in the house if her is using drugs and you dont want to be in the house. Do not use his job as an excuse for him though..that is unexcusable..i am very sorry about your situation but try to be strong and ask your hubbie up front..

whether your husband is using or not is probably a nonissue...if he is lying or no longer a connected part of your world his chemical state is neither here or "outthere"... when someone begins to lie or act irrational the best course of action is to steer clear...you may want to find them help but only when someone is ready to change will that happen...you can love someone without also turning your life into chaos and despair.. i would let him know how you feel and your plans for the future of the marriage .. but remember people dont have steering wheels ... they are not cars... and act on their own volition .... what makes sense to you may be GREEK to him good luck

He might be using drugs. If his eyes look wierd, he uses eyedrops, he sprays on alot of cologne to cover up the smoke, and he doesn't care about his appearance. You should be worried about him. Anything could happen to him. You also don't want to be with someone who does drugs. It can lead to financial problems sometimes. Be careful.

Sound like he has addictive behavior. Follow the money, does he have less (or more if he is selling to support a drug habit) cash than expected. . Look for pipes, cut straws, razor blades (esp with rust), and other drug related items. ask him to take a drug test and watch his response.

Sounds like he may be on drugs. Have you asked him? Even if he is he may not tell you. Either way he is being a jerk. He is disrespecting you. Without professional help, drug addiction only gets worse. If you overlook it, you are helping him on his road to destruction. Get counseling for yourself. He will ruin your self esteem and rob you of your life. Good luck.

the only way to know for sure is to just talk to him, confront him, just showing him that you worry about him and that you care. Try to not make him feel accused of anything or he will get defensive and keep lying to you probably..

Under the circumstances I doubt that he will accept anything from you!So talk about it with someone who is close to him or let the other woman to help him!However don't tolerate this situation anymore and do something for yourself first!

It's because of lack of sleep. If he works that much he must not be getting enough sleep. When you don't get enough sleep you get bloodshot eyes, you get cranky, etc. You shouldn't go overboard with the situation, wait until you are sure, then take action.
