Every year our government is forced to rescue someone because they are willing to go out and risk their lives and in turn risk the lives of the rescuers. Our Government should restrict rescue operations to people who through no fault of their own, become victims and need assistance.

Rescue missions are funded annually anyway. It's not costing you anything extra to help three citizens in danger of freezing to death. As for homeless people they are usually mentally disturbed, but not a danger to themeselves or others. There's nothing that can be done legally. Do you suggest we force them to stay in some shelter and lock them in?

That is a pretty good question. Can we bill them ? You can bet this will have bearing on who has permission to attempt a climb like this in the future.
