I am hoping to take the bar exam for my state. Part of the application/review process to see if you're qualified is a credit check. Will a score of 650 prevent me from being able to take the exam? All the other things aren't a problem, I've never been cited for a traffic offense, never been arrested for anything, went to an accredited school, etc.

No. I know attorneys who had bankruptcies on their credit reports who got licenced. besides, 650 isn't THAT bad......

Good luck on the exam!

until eventually they have practiced regulation in a particular state, they don't favor to have taken the bar. i imagine I heard some thing about Clinton being disbarred in Arkansas for 5 years.

No, 650 is fine. They only worry if it's below 475 or something close to that.
