Is there any in-game chatter between pilots during missions?

Oh by the way; I mean chatter between the computer AI pilots, ala X-Wing Alliance.

Basically you follow a fictional storyline that is based on records of the russian army during world war 2.
I think there is chatter between pilots, if i remember correctly

fantastic game indeed, as far as I know there is no chat available, however you can try the below link to speak to lots of other IL2 gamers.
