go through meiosis or mitosis? or both?

actually they can only go through Meiosis because since unicellular are organisms with only one cell it can't split itself and make another that's basically going agaist logic because if it split itself it would have 2 cells instead of being a unicellular oragnism

Some can actually do both. Many reproduce solely by mitosis. But some do have different mating types, and can mate and then go through meiosis.

Mainly mitosis, but when conditions are perfect, they may go through meiosis and fuse with another who has gone through meiosis. They also reproduce via budding and fragmentation.
