First it has to beat the 2004 crop: Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger & J.P Losman. But No I dont believe either the 04 draft or the one your question is about (V.Young,M.Lienhart &J.Cutler ) will top the Elway,Marino,Kelly draft.

Funny Footnote about the 83 draft; Todd Blackledge & Tony Eason where both drafted ahead of Dan Marino (hall of famer), And the Pittsburgh Steelers didn't Take the Hometown boy with the 21st pick. A decision All Steeler fans regret!

There is a REASON the Steelers didn't take Marino, it was OUT OF RESPECT TO HIM. If you ever learn of HIS story you would learn that when his last year at Pitt was over he wanted OUT of Pittsburgh because of the media. Considering the Rooneys isn't it obvious that they would respect his wishes. As a Steelers fan all I regret is that media treated Marino so bad that he fell so far. Including accusing him of use or sales or something like that of illegal drugs. They killed his reputation and stock. Anyway with Lienhart, Cutler, and Young you won't top '83 and proably won't top Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Big Ben. Come on they are already close to the '83 class with one going to the Superbowl in his second year, and the difference is he won.

'04 and '06 are going to supply us with the big name QBs for years to come. Of the '04 class, I'd say Rivers and Losman may be the best...and are this year. Way too early to tell with '06, obviously, but they're getting themselves off to a good start...

No way. The quarterbacks coming up this year are very overrated and will not thrive in the pros except for maybe Brady Quinn because he has an ex-pro coach and has taught him a lot. Troy Smith will be a bust.
