On the other hand, men who are cool and confident are viewed as "boring" and "too nice".
Why is this? Do healthy, well-adjusted men need to start being obnoxious jerks so that women will like them?

PLEASE, NO! I do not like loud obnoxious men. They are not sexy bad boys to me. They are nuisances. Healthy, well adjusted men are better for all areas of the relationship. Sexy bad boys are irresponsible and you will just have problems with them. I think the women need to grow up as well and realize this.

Its the nature of the beast. Don't ask me why girls do the things they do, but what you said is correct. Maybe they want to be the one to tame the wild animal and consider it a challenge. Who knows, but the secret is out. lol. Remember however, in a serious relationship you don't want to be that way or have someone that wants an "obnoxious jerk". So, be cautious because the one girl that would want you for a nice, sweet guy and that you could love would be turned off by your "rude, crude" bar attitude. It is also an age thing, so the rules change as you get older. The girls turn into women who don't think rude and crude are good qualities in a man. Don't sweat it, you'll find the right one. Best choice is not to play the games and be yourself, that way you'll always end up with a nice girl and you'll always be rememebered as a nice guy who didn't play the games.

Deep inside women like to be controlled. Modern women...though only like to be controlled in bed. They might think that the loud , rude man can deliver the fantasy.., but soon enough they find out that they have to deal with the same personality for the rest of the day. They don't last for long believe me.

ummm actually, most of us don't like loud, obnoxious guys. cool and confident is what we look for...or at least that's what i look for. i think that nice, mature guys are sooo attractive because you really don't find many of them these days. all the guys are jerks. shy guys really attract me because being shy most of the time means that they have a sweet, sensitive side. be yourself, the one thing that ticks us girls off is a guy who thinks it's cool to be a jerk.

Where do you get your info? I do not think loud rude men are sexy bad boys. But I have to admit you are right, years ago, I did think that, but, I have learned that loud rude men are also loud and rude to the woman they claim that they love.. :)
