You might just like it, if you give it a chance. But if you don't, I would be totally up front with the manager and explain that you only wanted part time. Also, that the job just isn't what you are looking for and put in a two weeks notice. It is a long time if you really hate it, but they have to give you a good reference if you work a notice. Be sure the two week notice is dated and keep a copy.

instead of a 2 week notice you give them a two day notice. Next time you go to work give them the 2 day notice and tell them you're quitting TO-DAY. If you hate what your doing do not prolong the agony

Thank you for the offer of employment. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that this would be not more than 20 hours per week, as that is all I can comfortably allow and still devote the amount of time necessary to my (college studies).
I have found another position that more suitably fits my needs and I will be unable to continue as of _____.
or
I must immediately terminate my employment as I cannot fulfill your full time requirements.
Very truly yours,

If you are still within your 3 month probation period then you don't have to give them a 2 week notice. Just quit!

Just as you said. Explain that the job isn't what you were looking for! Just be honest. They can't MAKE you work for them. If they don't like what they're hearing..... it's really too bad!
