For the 14 yo boy I would get an Mp3 player,pay as you go cell phone, gift certificate to HotTopic,for the 12yo girl you cant go wrong with Dream Life, Digi-Makeover, Gift certificate to Limited Too!( an all girls fantasy store) I have children of both ages and they get very picky at this age but these things are sure to make them happy!

For the 14 year old boy get a gift card for like bestbuy like a cd for a 12 year old buy nail polish or a gift card to toys r us

it depends on what they like... some 14 year old boys are still into video games, while others are into... high school stuff. Some 12 year old girls are still into stuffed animals, some are tomboys, and some are acting older than their age.
I'm going to be 14 tomorrow, and for my birthday, I got Shirley Temple movies. For Christmas, I'm getting ???????????

I would have to say a Bible, at this age both would do well to study God's word and learn about their creator. It may help them decide what is good and what is evil. God Bless Both of them.

Don't get them one of those music rubbish players. That is rubbish. I don't see the need for these days of electronics. Why in the old days it was great without electronics. This is rubbish. America is on a downhill spiral.
