"Hibernate" is a very low power option, Mouse or keyboard shouldn't wake the pc up. Probably you have a program running ,perhaps a virus scanner, that prevents hibernation by continuously modifying something in memory. Are you sure you're trying to hibernate, and not simply go to standby, when anything will wake it up?

If you move the mouse, or press a key after you put it into Hibernate, it will come out of Hibernation.

It is a bit early to get your computer out of hibernation. It normally needs to sleep until about the middle of March.

I had the same trouble when I was going out then realised when I was going back to my desk for something I'd inadvertently moved my mouse or the mouse pad.

Yes, you might be inadvertently nudging your mouse or something.

Try going into Start - Control Panel - Performance & Maintenance - Power Options to see what your settings are.
