I asked this question a while ago and got some great ideas. I'm not sure how old your boyfriend is, but I'll share what people shared with me. :o)
A great idea, which I did for my boyfriend's stocking is a book of coupons. Make them up on the computer or hand make them. Have things like "Good for a home cooked dinner", "Redeem for a walk in the park", "Good for movie night", anything you think your boyfriend would like, that he can use throughout the year. Microsoft Office has templates you can use and personalize. That's what I used!
Another neat idea is Lottery tickets, another few things I am putting in my boyfriend's stocking. :o)
Pick some candy that he likes, maybe some nuts like cashews, special treats he might like.
I bought some neat poker cards for my boyfriend's stocking because we love to play cards together.
There are loads of things you can pick for his stocking, my suggestion is just think of things he likes and find little neat things. The Dollar Store sometimes has LOADS of neat trinkets that would be good for a stocking as well.

oh chill out people so she miss spelled stocking big deal give her a break, anyway heres my answer= colognes, after shave, gloves, candies, cookies, or you could burn a CD with some of his favorite songs and make a pretty cd cover for it. I have did that for alot of people and they always like it because I take the time to find out what their favorite songs are and really personalize the cd cover. I'm sure anything you decide to give him he will be happy with because it came from you
