when you type in the site u want to go to in the adress bar all the way at the top of the screen and it automatically brings up the site if you already visited it before, well is there a way to turn that off so that it doesnt do that, is there a way

you cant do that exept clearing your history

You can not turn it off. You can limit the number of days that it saves that history. Click Tools>Internet Options>under Browsing History click Settings>at the bottom adjust the number of days you want it to remember your history.

You can also clean it at will by using a small program called CleanUp. I use it every time I log off without any problems.

Go to tools, Internet options and set your history to"0" days then clear your cache. This way it will not keep any history...period!

I'm assuming that you are using IE??
If you are using FireFox...tools, privacy, uncheck "remembered sites"
