It's been two weeks and I've been frequently asking questions on this, But new issues seem to be coming up. I think ants are coming through the vents on the ceiling, The ones that blow heat or cold air. I find them scaling the ceilings as if they've come from there. We're calling Terminex again but what can I do to kill the ones that are coming from the vents?! Is that even possible?

There are products you can buy that are very inexpensive that contain borax as an active ingredient. Put a couple drops where you see the ants travel then do all around the inside then the outside of the house, then repeat every couple months. My property is all sand and I get swarms outside that will turn the area black with ants but this keeps my house ant free.
The product is non toxic and the cost is under $2. The ants carry the syrup back to the nest and kills the whole lot of them Queen and colony.Raid and green cross are a couple of manufacturers I'm sure there are others out there. Sometimes the cheapest and simplest way is the best.

Buy some of the ant killer products and put it in the vent. Don't put a spray in the vent, because you don't want to inhale it, just one of those ant house things.

Try getting on a chair and cleaning them with vinegar and water or lemon and water.

Spray them with Windex or any glass cleaner and it should kill them instantly.
