although she was fab am i the only one that would have sooner seen ray win ?????/

No I wanted somene else to win. She was clearly the best but with that talent she was sure to get a great recording contract anyway. I would have liked someone else to scoop the top prize as a leg up to the industry.

I too wanted to see ray win. Leona does have an amazing voice, but there are already several other artists out there just like here.
I think Ray would have offered something a little different, plus he has more personality.
It seems as if a lot of people want the same thing as what is already out there. Just like last year Andy offered a maturer and more classy kind of entertainment, but the majority of people voted for Shane (even though there were already a bunch of artists just like him anyway). Where is shane now?
I hope they will both do well and i also hope they don't just release new kareoke versions of past classics.

To be honest by the time the final came round I was bored and cynical about the whole thing, there were no real personalities in there, which is a shame because I love x factor, especially Sharon O. Leona has an amazing voice though.

LIke most on here, I found Leonas voice wonderful to listen to. Ray was very entertaining, but would he be able to cut it in the world of music ? he is too much into his Swing stuff and although good, not many people would rush out to buy it.... Ben was good and should have been in the final..

no I know you are not the only one who would have liked Ray to win. I do hope that he gets picked up by a big producer. I think he will be a really big star. He reminds me of quite a few big stars in the 50s and 60s and 70s. He has charisma, charm, and he has cheeky grin he is really likeable. Yes leona has a great voice, but she lacks the presence that Ray has.

I wanted Ben too . . . he rocked! But Leona's voice was fab! I didn't really like Ray . . . he was too cocky but I can see why people liked him. He was entertaining.

no offense to anybody but I think it is mostly the old people that voted for ray and that felt sorry for ray if he went out cos he is young. but I voted for Leona!!

leona is AMAZING! im so happy she won... although i think ray seems to be an alright bloke he just isn't good enough! and his face totally freaks me out (harsh but true)
