No - any actor who says he is embarrassed to be an American, and says he'd move to France before he'd live here (and did) doesn't deserve my money (or respect, in my opinion) anymore. I support freedom of speech, but I also believe I have the right to my own patriotic opinion.

What I like about him is that every movie he does.. he does not repeat the same performance. He's done a few sucky movies in his hay-day ("The Ninth Gate"?? WTF?).. but nonetheless, still great performances. I find it facinating that an actor could make a career out of unsuccessful, horrible movies (before Wonka and Pirates, of course). You would have to be a really great actor, because looks can only get you so far.

He's okay. A talented actor. But I don't at all get the Johnny Depp fever going on (unless it's largely a kid thing).

I thought he was a great actor since the 80s. He's good in any character setting.

I love him as an actor! He's amazing and can fit the role of any charcater and play it perfectly.

he's funny in pirates of the carribean but creepy in that wonka movie he's a pretty good actor
