i enjoy watching American football, but the hang time clock has got to be the most non-important thing about the game.

also "The Tuck Rule"

and also in tennis "The Mini Break"

and that Sampras and Agassi actually had a rivalry...HA!

plus the single & double fault...is there any other sport that allows a "do-over"?

no, no, no....I know that hang time is important

what I hate is that they pop the image on the screen of the "Hang Time Clock". 4 seconds, 5 seconds...I never watch it ... it's stupid

sometimes the punt is designed for distance, sometimes direction, sometimes it's kicked right on the ground...hang time is only a small element of the return

& even if it's more important, do we really need to see that stupid clock?

I CAN TELL YOU ARE NOT FROM AMERICA. HANG TIME IS WHAT ALLOWS A PUNT NOT BE RETURNED. THE RETURN TEAM IS RIGHT ON TOP OF THE PUNT RETURNER WHEN HE CATCHES THE BALL.
