hey,
im a freshman in highschool and i want to get my lip pierced
(when my braces come off, so i still have a while)
and my mom thinks theyre totally disgusting.
but she's not really against piercings, im getting my navel pierced and she said that i could do my nose too, (i dont want to do my nose) but she HATES lips.
how can i help her change her mind?

p.s. please do not write things like "dont get your lip pierced, it messes up your teeth" blah blah blah. i know the side effects, and thats not what im asking for. thanks =)

I would not get your lip pierced if I were you because I had a fake one on and I hated the way people looked at me and treated me people will act different around you its not a smart idea! When you have to look for a job people are not going to hire you ! Its the truth!
Don't do it! Your so lucky you have a cool mom!

wait until your braces come out and examine the question again then. your want of a lip piercing may have changed by then, or your mother's feelings may have changed by then.
