Funny..I thought this many times too..and asked many..
Some said it's not true,but I (honestly) think it is.
I guess it's all about hormones.

Females ARE horny as hell! An experiment conducted by scientists yielded really hilarious results. 20 mice were separated in terms of gender- 10 males and 10 females. They were kept in 2 separate cages BUT they were allowed to look at each other and the cage doors were kept opened. The only deterence was a strip of electric current at the cage entrances. If a mouse tries to cross over to the other cage, it gets zapped and dies instantly. Guess what happened by the end of the experiment? All the females died! They just couldn't keep away from the males.

Men are predominantly aroused by what they can "see." Pictures, the sight of their wives "dressed sexy", sexual movies, etc, anything they can see.
Women are aroused by things that "mean something." When a woman sees a strong, well built man for example and feels aroused by it, it isn't the physical appearance that is causing the reaction but what it MEANS that he is strong in appearance. Her protection.
When a woman feels that sex is going to "mean" something, she is aroused by it.
When a man feels that sex is going to "look good" he is aroused by it.
They both acknowledge it will feel good.
Because it is easier to have sex when the sights are the only requirement, men will tend to want it more often than the women who are seeking a more time consuming and "deep" event.

well you screen name might just be a clue into why you have this misconception ! women can be every bit as horney as men what makes them horney is different than men though men see a woman they find attractive and get aroused women find other things arousing depending on who she is it can be strength , attitude , gentleness , loyalty , security , or something else possibly a combination of traits most are NOT attracted to a man simply because he claims to be larger than average and those that are realize that guys who brag about it are usually lying !

This is because society has different expectations for women, a woman who likes sex and has sex with a lot of people is considered a tramp, men who like sex and has sex with a lot of people are considered studs. Women like to have sex just as much as men and once they fell free to openly express themselves they are very freaky in the bedroom

they are.. they just have a different way of showing it.. plus, women tend to focus more on emotions and love and can't be mentally ready for sex until those feelings and emotional needs have been satisfied.. but once a woman is confortable with the man or woman she is with, look out! they can be equally as wild and crazy in bed as men..

not true women are as horny as men but we sometimes try to hide it. personally i don't and neither does my girlfriend.
