Yes. If legalized, the reason for this behavior can be addressed such as drug use, homelessness, alcoholism and help can be received. If they still choose to live this way then their health and lives can be protected. Also, if legalized, it should be contained to Brothels not the streets. Will also stop the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

I think Yes with some reservations

It would take out the big money makers from the equation

Make it safer for the girls

Make it safer and cleaner for the clients

There will always be the street walkers but it would narrow the field down a bit

The only way for prostitution to be legalized would be if there were strict guidelines of testing for all signs of disease, not just std's. The same as porn stars have to be. They are supposed to be tested once a month. But even so, there is still the large chance of spreading all kinds of diseases inside of that month. It would be very risky and send the wrong message to your children that it's okay to pay for sex as well as charge for it. And of course the government would have to have it's fingers in the pie as well. So no, I won't think it should be legalized.

Yes. It is a free world. I have nothing against Prostitution, although I doubt I'd resort to it. But there are some people that like that kind of thing, and they shouldn't be left out, just like someone of a different race or sexual preference (i.e. Bisexual, Homosexual, etc.).

Why not ... politics are!

Just kidding... NO! Morals and values are already at an all time low in America. That would make it even worse.

EDIT - ADDING MY FAV REAGAN QUOTE
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

NO AIDS among other STDs kill people all the time. Plus if a man were to go out and have sex with a hooker, he could bring all kinds of crap back to his wife/girlfriend.
