First disconnect the battery,2nd locate the starter,3rd remove mounting bolts but know that the starter is heavy and you dont want it to drop and pull the wires, also where tha starter meets the block there are thin pieces of metal that will probably fall.Theese are called shims and will need to be put back between the new starter and block because it allows for proper spacing between the gears that mesh when you turn the ignition to start.remove the wires and replace the starter.last of all reconnect the battery,It's not a hard job as long as exhaust and brackets don't get in the way.good luck.
