In my family, it is for adults too. So we might eat a lot and drink "'some" but Happy Christmas means having fun and joy and being happy.
Those Prats like troublesome inlaws are either made so miserable by being around happy adults they bugger off or shut up. Anyone who tries to start sh*t if nothing else will be taunted into obscurity. Usually they don't show up.
A hit to the person with troublesome inlaws. A fast "F*off" is what I would give them. That is, unless trying to keep them looking on you with favour because you want the prezzies.
I have personally had the pleasure of running my brother's sister in law off a few times. Everyone cheers when she leaves. Importantly...If I do not do it, one of the two sisters will send her packing.
We don't let a sour apple ruin our pie!
Charles "That Cheeky Lad"
The Cheeky Lad keeps wishes everyone a wickedly happy Christmas!
PS to those who belong to religious cults that misquote the bible... Christianity did just fine without you prats for nearly 2,000 years. We don't need some late upstarts that are of Satan perverting God's word preaching at us round Christmas. Put a Cork in it.

The eating is very important. It enables us to put on a little fat to see us through winter.
