I've been playing for almost a year. It's a virtual community of other people playing (avatars) and you can do everything from go shopping, camping, role play, build, design clothing and other items, own land etc. There are lots of things to do that cost you money, but there are also many things you can do to make money. Many people play Second Life as a full time job and make great money off of it.

It is a great game and some people can make up to $100,000 a year selling stuff on it.

I think its probably fun to play if you have the time but I think it is probably quite an extensive time waster to be honest, like most online simulation games.

I did and un-installed it the next day. Maybe it's too big to big fast enough to enjoy
