How do you know or tell if you are bonding with someone or they're bonding with you?

Bonding is primarily a chemical reaction within our brains. Being around the other person releases happy chemicals, we then associate good feelings with that person. This is of course a very simple answer to a very complex field of study.
There are many theories of how and why we bond, too many to be covered in here. Most common bonds studied are the ones we create with our mates, children, and parents.
There are some studies and theories that suggest if a maternal bond is not formed in early infancy we lose the ability to bond with anyone.
There are other theories that suggest we only bond according to our own level of development.

Bonding is a way of saying...spiritually connecting. You will know if you connect with someone.
