Why are they all being such jerks? We can't see any NFL games unless we have digital cable. Last night, we were at the bar and every 30 or 45 minutes the DJ would announce the score. She was getting her info from a guy in the crowd who was getting the scores off of his cell phone. The only reason we were able to find out that the Cowboys won was because of him. Is this how its always gonna be? Is baseball doomed, also? Oh woe is me!!

Actually I wouldn't miss baseball if they did that, nor would I consider them "doomed" because they have their following and don't get much other followers. Anyway the NFL wants to make money because they are incrediably greedy. They started broadcasting games when only about a 1/3 of households get the NFL Network and say anyone else who wants to see the games has to live in that market or get our network. They are doing that so they can get MORE money. GREED GREED GREED. Time Warner TRIED to get the NFL Network but wanted to put it on the Digital Tier, because the NFL CHARGES Per viewer so Time Warner wanted to pass the cost to the customer who was most likely to view it. On the other hand the NFL said NO you have to put it on the REGULAR Cable so we can get MORE MONEY from you. Time Warner says they would likley have to add $1 or $2 PER CUSTOMER PER MONTH to cover what the NFL wants in a FEE. It is the NFL being GREEDY. Oh and if the bar had a TV and had CABLE they could have got updates on ESPN2 from the scores that go along the bottom ticker.

It does suck! It's just about selfishness and greed! What's the point of having a game on Thursday night or Saturday night if 90% of the country can't see it! It's not fair! I want to see the games, especially with the playoff implications of a lot of them!

The NFL tried to charge cable companies way too much for thier station and cable companies told them no way. The NFL is putting games on thier channel, because they can, to get customers to complain to the cable companies that they can't see thier team play hoping that cable companies finally give in. In essence, it all comes down to money.

Just be smart and get Direct TV, it is so much better than cable. If you are a true football fan, you need Direct TV.
