erwards and I end looking silly. I hate liers and I realize I am one every now and then. How can I stop that?

I think the best reason not to lie is because you don't have to remember all that crap to keep your story straight. If you don't want to lie then don't. Simple as that. Don't become what you hate, the worst lies are told in silence so don't fool yourself. You are the only who can stop no matter how many people tell you how. There is no specific how, there is only when you stop.

get ahold of your tongue. think before you speak, it's hard to do,
but just lay back & let others do all the talking. it helps. realize
too, that everybody lies,yes, Everybody Lies! (whether they admit it or not . it just takes the right circumstances.)

it's ok to tell a few lies here and there if it wont affect anyone else...but if you repeat it over and over again then you have got a problem...just try telling the truth

we all tell little white lies every now and then.. but if youre an habitual liar, then you might need some counseling.
