...Yahoo offered the ability of users to give points to other users?
What would you do with the ability? I would help out some friends that need a few extra points!

me too! I only need about 100 more points to get to Level 5...I really want to get to Level 5 before the holiday vacation: December 22...do you think I can make it? It's actually like 141 or something....I hope I can, but I probably won't, oh well....

It doesn't really matter, the points are pointless. Everyone has to start out at the same place and do the Q&A in their own way. I really don't know what I would do with that ability because we don't have it.

i think it's a really good idea because people answer the questions either to help or for points or both. i couldn't care about points and am not even sure what they are for so it would be good for me to give them to others. i'd read people's answers and questions and the people i thought offered something i'd give them to them.

I guess it could be beneficial if you needed just a few pts to get to the next level or if you were quitting Y/A, u could give them away

Sounds promising; I randomly give thumbs up anyway, I do the opposite and that gets to some. LOL, I'm trying to figure that one out.

I wouldn't like that. I would do the same as you and give points to the ones I like but that wouldn't be fair.

Nah, I wouldn't like it, for the exact reason you would use it.
It would form cliques on here, and I think one of the reasons this board thrives is the absence of cliques.
