I'm trying to find a website that will explain how to make hemp bracelets. I don't want just a simple normal one-i want one that's different and unique, and so not just the simple knot that so many websites explain. It's for a guy at my work, and i want to give him something simple but nice so i thought this would be a good idea if i could do it. so if anyone has a pattern or website that would help me out, i would appreciate it!

You can use as many strings as you want. You can use 9 strings with 3 on the sides and 3 in the middle. Then when it gets to the front of your neck (close to where you would put a center bead), break up the 9 strings and make 3 weaves (essentially 3 different necklaces). Add beads, then bring them all together again and finish the necklace.
When you are making your bracelet or necklace, slip the loop over a hanger and hold it between your feet. It's much easier this way.
You can also try using differant colors. They sell differant color and multicolored hemp at some stores.
Beads are always fun too =]
