"Missile money" could pay for a large number of things, not just Post Offices. How about giving teachers a pay-rise, or opening more doctor's surgeries, or putting dental care back on the NHS, or providing better care for the elderly, or putting more police on the streets to stop prostitutes getting murdered or to stop prostitution in the first place, or keeping the roads toll free..... you see where i'm going with this.
The best way to make your voice heard is through your MP. Contact him/her and give them an earful. Try www.writetothem.com
If that fails don't vote for them again. Vote for someone else, that really gets to them.

This economy is an out of control freight train on a collision course with our freedoms. Once the dollar bottoms out, they will introduce the amero. As for the spending, they (the crooked politicians) are trying to get as much as they can to line their pockets before that happens. Honestly, why do you think most of the money is going overseas? To exchange the worthless dollar for other currency? That would be my guess.

Yup, it's grim... but even though the 'decision' has been made on Trident, there will still be a parliamentary vote on it... I think there are convincing arguments against it, do the research, lobby yer MP.

probably because some politician is getting a bung for the missiles order knowing that Blair will cancel any later probe if it is discovered
