they collect the samples a vet gets and they label blood samples and book an animal in when they arrive a technician has a very important job helping the vet the vet will get the technician to fill out the paper work and then he will check it and sign it.they also wash or groom the dog depending on what is needed.most of a technicians work is running around after the vet but it can be a rewarding job my mom was a vet nurse and i looked in a book to get this information hope it helps you

I'm a veterinary Technician and pretty much a Veterinary Dermatology Technicians is, they specialize in dermatology in animals besides doing the normal veterinary technician work. All it is basically is another class the get licenced in. And no It's Not A Groomer. All Groomers do is Wash the animals, A VDT does skin tests and treatments along with other things.
